From October 5th-12th, 2020, Tropical Storm Delta moved to the south west of Grand Cayman where it turned into a category 2 hurricane. Cayman was lucky to have the force of the storm pass by, but it did bring huge seas to our shores that made for very happy surfers. They grabbed their boards and called me to come and photograph their excitement and exhilaration. As the waves moved with the storm, the surfers traveled from catching waves in south sound to riding waves on the normally calm Seven Mile Beach.
